Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, July 2026 — Honeywell Aerospace has announced the appointment of Vijay Yaram as its Country Leader – India, effective immediately.
In his new role, Vijay will lead Honeywell Aerospace’s India operations, supporting the company’s growth strategy in one of its most important global markets while strengthening customer engagement and advancing its aerospace and defense business across the country.
Vijay assumes this leadership position after serving as Senior Director – Commercial Excellence, Strategy and M&A at Honeywell Aerospace, where he led commercial excellence initiatives, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, he served as Director – Commercial Excellence & Strategy, helping shape business strategy and commercial execution for the aerospace business.
Before joining Honeywell, Vijay built more than 17 years of leadership experience at GE, holding a series of strategic, commercial, sourcing, and market development roles across India, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
His most recent role at GE was OEM Partnerships Leader – South Asia, GE Healthcare, where he led strategic partnerships across the region. Earlier, he served as Market Development Leader, GE Research, driving market expansion and commercialization initiatives.
He also held leadership positions including Customer & Market Insights Leader – South Asia, GE Healthcare, Global Product Cost Leader, GE Oil & Gas (Subsea) in Scotland, Sourcing Integration Leader and NPI Sourcing Leader for GE Healthcare Life Sciences, Global Sourcing Leader, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Intellectual Property Analyst, building broad expertise across commercial strategy, innovation, operations, sourcing, and business transformation.
Vijay began his professional career as a Technology Analyst at SciTech Patent Art Services, followed by a role as Project Engineer at HBL Power Systems, laying the foundation for a career spanning technology, engineering, healthcare, and aerospace.
With more than 25 years of experience, Vijay brings extensive expertise in commercial excellence, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, market development, sourcing, operational excellence, customer partnerships, and business leadership across global industrial and technology organizations.
