Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – Premji Invest, a leading global investment firm supporting emerging technologies and entrepreneurial ventures, has announced the appointment of Vikash Singh as Senior Vice President – Human Resources. In this strategic leadership role, Vikash will lead the firm’s people agenda, driving organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and a future-ready talent strategy aligned with Premji Invest’s mission of sustainable value creation and innovation.
Before joining Premji Invest, Vikash served as Head of Human Resources at PayU, one of India’s leading fintech companies. Over a span of more than five years, he worked closely with the leadership team to build and scale the organization through a blend of high-tech and high-touch approaches. He played a pivotal role in crafting people strategies that aligned with PayU’s business vision, driving leadership development, talent planning, and a culture of innovation. His work significantly enhanced the employee experience and helped shape a consistent, growth-oriented organizational culture.
Prior to his time at PayU, Vikash held the position of Vice President, People & Culture at Gojek (GoTo Group), where he contributed to scaling the fast-growing Southeast Asian technology platform. His expertise in organizational development and diversity helped in strengthening employee engagement across multiple regions during a critical phase of growth.
Earlier, Vikash served as Vice President, Human Resources at Lazada Group, where he led HR for India and the technology business in Singapore. He played a transformative role in embedding a people-first, performance-driven culture across operations, enhancing leadership capabilities, and driving HR transformation initiatives for global alignment.
Before joining Lazada, Vikash worked with Honeywell Technology Solutions as Senior HR Business Partner, managing global HR portfolios and implementing leadership competency frameworks, talent segmentation, and succession planning initiatives. His previous experience at Levi Strauss & Co., where he managed HR operations for India and Southeast Asia, deepened his expertise in talent management, engagement, and change leadership across diverse markets.
Vikash began his HR career with Safexpress Pvt. Ltd. as Regional HR – South India, and since then, his career trajectory has spanned multiple industries — from logistics and retail to manufacturing, technology, and fintech — giving him a comprehensive perspective on building scalable, high-performing organizations.
Vikash holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College. His strong academic foundation in management and leadership has underpinned his people-centric yet data-driven approach to HR strategy.
