Delhi, India, September 2025 – Vishal Akhauri has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Lazer India, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career spanning over two decades in the FMEG (Fast-Moving Electrical Goods) and home appliances industry. In his new position, he is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the organization, driving operational efficiency, and spearheading innovation-led growth to enhance Lazer India’s position in an increasingly competitive market.
Before joining Lazer India, Vishal served as Vice President of Business Development at Surya Roshni, where he led business initiatives across fans, home appliances, pumps, and other product lines. His role involved overseeing customer engagement, transformation projects, and team leadership, establishing a strong foundation for business expansion.
Prior to that, he held the position of Sales and Marketing Head at Sujata, a reputed name in the Indian appliance sector. His tenure was marked by strong market insights and execution of high-impact marketing strategies that fueled brand visibility and revenue growth.
Vishal spent over eight years at Havells India Ltd, where he rose through several leadership roles, including Deputy General Manager, General Manager, Business Head, and ultimately Joint Vice President. During this time, he led marketing and sales operations across product categories and geographies, including launching new business lines such as Standard Fans. His work in team building, strategic trend analysis, and execution excellence has been widely recognized in the industry.
Earlier in his career, he contributed to Bajaj Electricals Ltd as Assistant General Manager (Marketing), playing a crucial role in product development, pricing, branding, and sales enablement for ceiling fans. He began his career with Usha International, where he rose to become Assistant Divisional Manager during his 8-year tenure, managing regional markets such as West Bengal, Bhutan, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands with impressive CAGR achievements.
Vishal holds an MBA in Marketing from BIT Mesra, where he was active in debating and student-industry relations. His deep industry expertise, sharp business acumen, and proven track record make him an ideal leader to take Lazer India into its next phase of expansion and technological evolution.
