Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, July 2024 – SAUDIBIO has announced the appointment of Wafi Alshehri as the new Head of People & Organization. With a robust background in human resources and people management, Wafi is poised to drive the company’s HR strategies and organizational development initiatives.
Wafi Alshehri has recently joined SAUDIBIO as the Head of People & Organization. In this role, he will focus on enhancing the company’s people strategies, organizational structure, and employee development programs to support SAUDIBIO’s growth and success.
Before his current role, Wafi worked at Biogen for nearly three years. He served as a People Relations Partner for 1.5 years, leading investigations, supporting HR and executive leadership, and implementing reorganization and restructuring initiatives across the USA, Europe, and the Biogen Intercontinental Region. Prior to that, he was an HR Business Partner Lead in Riyadh, where he coordinated HR policies, drove succession planning, and led talent management efforts.
Previously, Wafi was with SAUDIBIO for over three years in various roles. As a Human Resources Manager, he developed compliance procedures, drove recruitment processes, and created training programs for Saudi nationals. He also served as the Acting Human Resources Manager, where he established HR strategies, directed personnel activities, and resolved work-related issues.
Earlier in his career, Wafi held the position of Assistant Project Manager at SAUDIBIO, managing multiple projects and preparing performance reports. He also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at East Carolina University and as a Search and Rescue Specialist with the Royal Saudi Air Force.
