Bogotá, Capital District, Colombia – October 2024 – Wendy Gallego has been appointed as the Director of Global Talent & Organizational Development at Vantage Specialty Chemicals. In this role, Wendy will drive global initiatives focused on talent development, cultural transformation, and organizational strategies to enhance performance across the company’s global operations.
Prior to this promotion, Wendy served as the Global Talent & Organizational Development Senior Manager at Vantage Specialty Chemicals for two years, where she successfully led culture transformation initiatives and implemented Agile ways of working across global regions, including the U.S., LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. She collaborated with leaders across different business units to align talent strategies with organizational goals, boosting engagement and efficiency.
Before joining Vantage, Wendy was the Talent & Culture Leader for the Digital Transformation Regional Office at Grupo Promerica. Over her tenure of more than a year, she led initiatives focused on digital culture transformation across nine countries, enhancing HR capabilities and driving strategic HR processes in the banking sector.
Previously, Wendy held the position of Business Director for North Latin America at Petra Group – Talent Connections for over two years, where she managed HR consulting projects in digital culture transformation, organizational design, and talent acquisition across diverse industries, achieving significant business growth and client satisfaction.
