She brings a wealth of experience in HR and talent management to her new role. Priti Singh joins Universal Sompo General Insurance after a successful tenure at Mastercard, where she served in various leadership roles over approximately seven years. Most recently, she was the Head of People & Capability for Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (EEMEA), focusing on achieving business-wide strategic goals through a comprehensive talent strategy. Prior to this, she held the position of Senior Vice President, Head People & Capability, South Asia, leading Mastercard’s largest unit outside the US, and served as the Vice President, Head Human Resources – South Asia, overseeing multiple business units and delivering the strategy, culture, and growth priorities of the market.
Before Mastercard, Priti was with Suntory Global Spirits as the Head Human Resources, HR Systems Leader, Asia Pacific for over three years. She led HR strategies focused on business transformation, organizational effectiveness, talent, and change management across Asian countries. She also established the Beam Suntory Academy of Sales Excellence and implemented diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Priti worked with Sun Life Financial as the Vice President, Head Human Resources – Asia Service Centres. She provided strong leadership as the organization’s principal cultural and HR architect for Asia Centres, aligning HR strategies with business goals. She also served as a Board Director of Sun Life India Service Centre Pvt Ltd.
Priti’s extensive experience further includes senior HR roles at AXA XL, FirstRain Inc., and Panalpina, where she managed HR functions across various regions, contributing to organizational growth and development.
