Karen Elliott Appointed as Head of Human Resources at McDonald's

London, UK, September 2024 – Karen Elliott has been appointed as the new Head of Human Resources at McDonald’s UK, where she will oversee HR operations, talent management, and employee relations for the company’s UK and European markets. In her new role, Karen will focus on developing HR strategies that enhance the employee experience, fostering a culture of inclusivity and continuous learning, while supporting McDonald’s growth in the region.

Before stepping into this role, Karen Elliott served as Education, Learning & Development Manager at McDonald’s for nearly 3 years, where she was instrumental in designing and implementing learning programs aimed at improving employee skills and career development across the organization. Her work helped build a robust training framework that supported McDonald’s growth objectives while enhancing employee engagement.

Karen’s experience as a Human Resources Business Partner at McDonald’s spanned over 3 years, where she managed HR functions across various locations in the UK, collaborating closely with leadership teams to implement effective talent acquisition and retention strategies. Her earlier roles include Learning and Development Specialist and Business Manager, where she honed her skills in employee training, leadership development, and operational management for nearly 9 years.
