Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, September 2024 – Kate Poole has been named Head of People & Development Consulting at Allens, where she will lead the P&D Consulting team for both Legal and Corporate Services. In her new role, Kate will work with key stakeholders to manage talent, enhance leadership, and deliver integrated people strategies across the firm, ensuring alignment with Allens’ broader goals.
Before stepping into her new role, Kate served as Head of People & Development Consulting (Corporate Services) at Allens for nearly 3 years, where she was instrumental in guiding leaders on culture change, talent development, and resourcing solutions.
Prior to this, she was the National Resourcing Manager for Client Secondments and Allens Adapt, managing secondments and resource allocation to deliver commercial value and develop talent. Additionally, Kate held a range of HR leadership roles, including Group HR Manager at AWE Limited and HR Manager for Australia/New Zealand at Nobel Biocare, where she was responsible for strategic HR management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
Earlier in her career, Kate spent over 7 years at BDO Australia, rising to the position of National Mobility Manager, overseeing national and international secondment activity and providing strategic HR support.
