Berwyn, Pennsylvania, United States, December 2024 – AMETEK, Inc., a global leader in industrial technology solutions, has announced the promotion of Narayan Vishwanathan to Vice President and General Manager of its Materials Analysis Division. In this role, Mr. Vishwanathan will oversee the division’s operations, leveraging his extensive leadership experience and innovative approach to drive growth and success.

Narayan Vishwanathan joined AMETEK in 2005 and has since held various profit and loss leadership positions, demonstrating a track record of driving operational excellence and growth. His previous roles include Divisional Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Electron Microscopy Technologies (EMT) businesses, Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the Edax business, and Business Manager for the HDR Power Systems business.
Mr. Vishwanathan holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Mumbai and an International Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business.
