Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2025 – Captain Fresh, a global leader in tech-led seafood supply chain solutions, has appointed Rupali Gupta as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). In her new role, Gupta will lead People & Culture across the company’s international operations, including offices in India, the US, Europe (Spain, France, Poland), and the UAE. Her extensive background in talent management, organizational development, and global leadership will play a pivotal role in scaling operations, integrating diverse cultures, and driving a high-performance work culture across regions.
Prior to joining Captain Fresh, Rupali Gupta served as Senior Client Partner and Asia Pacific Life Sciences Consulting Leader at Korn Ferry for nearly 2 years, where she led consulting practices focusing on workforce transformation, job redesign, and leadership development.
Previously, she worked with Mercer as Consulting Leader for 4 years, spearheading future-of-work projects, workforce reskilling, and performance management strategies across multiple sectors, including telecom and healthcare.
Her experience also includes 3 years at Mundipharma as Head of Talent Development – Emerging Markets & Singapore HR Head, where she led global leadership programs, implemented Workday HR technology, and managed executive compensation strategies.
Before that, Gupta held leadership positions at Standard Chartered Bank and Accenture, focusing on HR transformations, organizational design, and executive leadership development.
Rupali Gupta holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations (PGD PM&IR) from XLRI Jamshedpur, where she was part of the placement committee and served as volleyball team captain.
