Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, January 2025 – Jordan Bolden Dunn has been appointed as the Vice President of Human Resources at Ivy Tech Community College. In this new role, Jordan will lead the HR strategy for the state’s largest public postsecondary institution, focusing on workforce development, employee relations, and organizational leadership.
Before joining Ivy Tech Community College, Jordan Bolden Dunn served as Chief of Staff at the Indiana State Personnel Department for nearly four years, where she managed personnel strategies, labor relations, and policy implementation for the state workforce.
Prior to that, Jordan was the Chief Administrative Officer at the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles, where she was responsible for personnel management, training, and employee engagement initiatives for over two years.
She also held the role of Chief of Staff at the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, leading HR operations and policy development for approximately 1.5 years. Earlier in her career, she served as Employee Relations Deputy Counsel and Human Resources Specialist at the Indiana State Personnel Department, gaining extensive experience in labor and employment law and strategic HR management.
Jordan Bolden Dunn holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington.
