Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, February 2025 – Scott Deloretta has been named Executive Director, Human Resources, Integrated Manufacturing at GE Aerospace. In this role, he will lead the human resources strategy for over 11,000 manufacturing and engineering employees across 25 global sites, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives to support GE Aerospace’s industry-leading manufacturing operations.
With over 21 years at GE Aerospace, Scott has held multiple leadership roles in human resources and workforce strategy, shaping HR transformation, global talent operations, and engineering leadership development.
Prior to this appointment, Scott served as Executive Human Resources Leader for Services Engineering and the Chief Engineer’s Office, where he developed HR strategies for a global engineering workforce of 1,500 engineers across eight locations and seven countries. His leadership helped drive operational excellence in supporting a fleet of over 50,000 engines in service, managing $135 billion in customer service agreements.
Earlier, he was Executive Human Resources Leader for Engineering NPI Operations, leading HR strategies for a team of 5,000 engineers across seven locations and five countries. His work was instrumental in supporting the development of over $1 billion in new aviation products, including GEnx, LEAP, Passport 20, Honda, and GE38 engines.
Scott also served as Vice President, Human Resources at Unison Engine Components (a GE Aviation business), where he spearheaded the HR integration strategy for Unison’s global acquisition. His leadership drove $181 million in operating profit, $500 million in business synergy, and $14 million in base cost reduction across 15 global manufacturing, sales, and engineering sites.
His tenure at GE Aviation also includes a pivotal role as HR Manager for Rotating Parts, Structures, and Combustion COEs, supporting over 4,000 employees across multiple union and non-union manufacturing and engineering facilities.
