Milton Keynes, England, United Kingdom, March 2025 – Ruth Taylor has joined The Parks Trust as Head of People (Maternity Cover). In this role, she will be responsible for leading HR initiatives, driving employee engagement, and ensuring the continued development of HR strategies that align with the organization’s commitment to maintaining Milton Keynes’ vast and inspiring green spaces.
Prior to joining The Parks Trust, Ruth Taylor founded Taylor Written HR, where she has been providing HR consultancy and copywriting services since 2021. Through her consultancy, she has supported organizations in shaping their HR policies and employer branding, helping them build strong and effective people strategies.
Before her entrepreneurial journey, she spent nearly four years at Whitbread, where she served as Policy Manager, leading employee engagement, HR policy development, and regulatory compliance across the organization. She also worked as ER Delivery Manager at Costa, supporting the brand with employee relations strategies and workplace culture initiatives.
Her career also includes various HR leadership roles at Costa Coffee, where she managed reward strategies, project management, and engagement initiatives. Additionally, she has experience in employee relations, recruitment, and HR advisory roles at leading organizations such as Marks & Spencer and XPO Logistics Europe.
With her strong background in HR strategy, policy development, and employee engagement, Ruth brings a wealth of expertise to The Parks Trust during this transitional leadership period.
