Middletown, Connecticut, United States, March 2025 – Kate Caligaris has been appointed as Vice President, Human Resources Program Management at Liberty Bank – CT, one of the oldest and most respected mutual banks in the United States. In her new role, Kate will be responsible for leading key HR programs and initiatives that align with Liberty Bank’s commitment to innovation, talent development, and organizational excellence.
Prior to joining Liberty Bank, Kate served for over three years at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where she most recently held the role of Director, Organizational Development & Learning. In this capacity, she led large-scale talent development strategies while also serving previously as Human Resources Director, overseeing employee experience, engagement, and HR operations.

Kate brings more than a decade of experience from her tenure at Travelers, where she held multiple roles including Director of Workforce Planning, Human Resources Director, and HR Manager. Throughout her time at Travelers, she played a pivotal role in leadership development, workforce analytics, and employee relations, contributing significantly to strategic HR transformation across business units.
Earlier in her career, Kate also worked in customer-facing and HR specialist roles, including Employee Relations Specialist and Account Manager – National Programs at Travelers, which gave her a deep understanding of business operations and the intersection of HR and customer service.
