Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States, April 2025 – Heather Clark has joined Novocure as Head of Human Resources, North America, marking a significant leadership addition to the global oncology company. In this strategic role, she will lead HR operations across North America, focusing on enhancing talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and cultural integration to support Novocure’s mission of improving survival in some of the most aggressive forms of cancer.
Prior to joining Novocure, Heather served as Senior Director, HR Business Partner at Ipsen, where she played a pivotal role in organizational growth, talent management, and cultural integration following the acquisition of Albireo Pharma. Her leadership contributed to improved engagement and retention, as well as the development of key people initiatives.
Before Ipsen, Heather was the Global Human Resources Leader at Agenus, where she led the HR function in preparation for the company’s first commercial product launch. She implemented forward-thinking talent strategies and fostered a culture of inclusion and impact across the organization.
Earlier, Heather spent over two years at Takeda, where she held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Talent Acquisition for the Global Oncology Business Unit and Interim HR Business Partner for Global Finance, supporting the company through significant post-acquisition integration with Shire. She also directed global talent acquisition across commercial and corporate functions.
Heather’s foundational HR experience was built over more than 12 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she rose from recruiter to Director of Talent Acquisition for U.S. Consumer Markets, contributing to the transformation of the company’s recruitment strategies and talent branding.
