Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, April 2026 – Tushar Tripathi has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Wagh Bakri Tea Group, marking a significant leadership transition within the organization.
With over 17 years of association with the Group, Tushar Tripathi has been a key pillar in shaping the company’s operational excellence. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer, he played a critical role in strengthening manufacturing capabilities, optimizing supply chain operations, and driving innovation across the organization.
As CEO, he will now lead the company’s next phase of growth, focusing on scaling operations, enhancing product innovation, and strengthening market leadership in India’s competitive FMCG landscape.
Tushar Tripathi has spent a substantial part of his career with Wagh Bakri Tea Group, where he progressed through key leadership roles over nearly two decades. As Chief Operating Officer, he led operations for a large-scale business, driving efficiency, capacity expansion, and supply chain integration while ensuring consistent quality and compliance standards.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President – Operations, where he was responsible for manufacturing strategy, product quality, supply chain optimization, and infrastructure expansion, contributing significantly to the company’s growth trajectory and operational robustness.
Before joining Wagh Bakri, he built strong operational and manufacturing expertise during his long tenure at PepsiCo (India) Holdings Limited, where he held multiple leadership roles including General Manager – Operations. During this period, he led large-scale manufacturing operations, managed complex supply chain networks, and played a pivotal role in product launches, process optimization, and international quality certifications.
Earlier in his career, he worked with Pfizer (India) Limited and Sandoz (India) Ltd, where he developed foundational expertise in engineering services, manufacturing processes, and operational management.
