Kuldip Raina Appointed as Managing Director & CEO of Shalimar Paints

Gurugram, Haryana, India, April 2025 — Kuldip Raina has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Shalimar Paints for a three-year term beginning April 10, 2025, and extending until April 9, 2028, subject to shareholder approval. The decision, approved by the Board of Directors and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, marks a new chapter in the leadership journey of India’s oldest paint brand.

Raina joined Shalimar Paints in May 2022 as Director – Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Sourcing, and has since led major initiatives to enhance brand positioning, customer outreach, and channel expansion. His efforts have driven meaningful growth and strategic transformation, positioning the company for greater innovation and market relevance.

Prior to this, Raina served as Chief Executive Officer at Nerofix Private Limited, a Kansai Nerolac Paints subsidiary, where he led the adhesives and construction chemicals vertical. He was previously associated with Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd as General Manager – Business Development, where he steered high-impact market development initiatives for over six years.

Raina’s earlier roles include leadership positions at Jubilant Industries Ltd, where he progressed from National Sales Manager to General Manager, and at Arvind Brands Ltd as Regional Sales Manager, contributing to apparel sector growth. He also spent nearly five years at Goodlass Nerolac Paints Ltd. as Divisional Sales Manager, and began his career in sales with Cadila Pharmaceuticals and ITC Limited, where he served as Area Head.

With over 30 years of diversified industry experience, Kuldip Raina brings deep market insights, operational excellence, and visionary leadership to his new role. As MD & CEO, he is expected to lead Shalimar Paints into its next era of innovation, profitability, and category leadership.
