Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 – Satyabrata Mohapatra has been elevated to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at UGRO Capital Limited, marking a significant leadership milestone in his career. In this role, he will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing service delivery, and strengthening customer experience as the organization scales its DataTech-driven MSME lending platform.
Satyabrata Mohapatra has been associated with UGRO Capital for nearly five years, where he most recently served as Head of Operations, Treasury Operations & Customer Experience. In this role, he played a pivotal part in building robust operational frameworks, strengthening co-lending processes, and enhancing customer-centric service delivery across the organization.
Prior to joining UGRO Capital, he was Central Head – Retail Asset Operations at Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited, where he led key functions including banking operations, customer service, regulatory reporting, and process automation.
Earlier, he served as Vice President and Finance Controller at InCred Financial Services, where he managed financial planning, budgeting, securitization, and regulatory reporting, contributing to the company’s financial governance and operational efficiency.
He also spent several years at Reliance Capital, where he worked across financial planning, securitization, and business analytics, gaining deep expertise in lending operations and financial management.
His early career includes roles at Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, and ICICI Home Finance Company, where he built strong foundations in customer operations, audit, and lending systems.
Satyabrata Mohapatra holds a PGDM in Finance from The ICFAI University Tripura.
