Pune, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – HSBC has announced the appointment of Suhas Sharma as Vice President – Emerging Talent Attraction, Selection and Development – India, reinforcing its commitment to building a future-ready workforce through robust early careers and talent development strategies. In his new role, Suhas will lead initiatives focused on identifying, attracting, and nurturing high-potential early-career talent across India.
Suhas joins this role after a successful five-year stint at Citi, where he most recently served as Assistant Vice President – Early Careers – India. In this capacity, he played a strategic role in shaping campus engagement and early talent acquisition initiatives, contributing significantly to Citi’s brand positioning among young professionals and university talent.
Prior to this, he held roles as Assistant Vice President – Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Manager at Citi, where he led high-volume and niche hiring efforts across multiple business units. His efforts were instrumental in refining talent strategies and scaling hiring operations efficiently across India.
Before Citi, Suhas served as Talent Acquisition Lead at BRIDGEi2i Analytics Solutions, where he specialized in recruiting data scientists, analytics experts, and technology talent. Earlier, he held the position of Manager – Client Relations at Aarch Solutions, where he managed delivery teams and client relationships for analytics and BFSI verticals.
Suhas began his career with early roles in business development and academic operations, gaining valuable experience in stakeholder management and organizational coordination. His career reflects a strong foundation in talent acquisition, client engagement, and strategic people development, making him well-suited for his new role at HSBC.
