Houston, Texas, United States, May 2025 – Angela Hampton has joined Mantis Innovation as the Chief People Officer, bringing with her nearly two decades of strategic HR experience across the energy and consulting sectors. In her new role, she will lead all aspects of the company’s people strategy, including talent development, organizational culture, and workforce planning, while supporting the company’s growth in facility and energy management solutions.
Prior to joining Mantis Innovation, Angela Hampton served as Director, Human Resources Services for Country Services at TotalEnergies, where she spent over six years driving talent acquisition, global mobility, university relations, and learning and development for U.S. affiliates. Her work was pivotal in cultivating a data-driven HR culture and enhancing organizational capabilities across 2,500 employees and five business branches.
Before that, she was the Manager of HR & Communication for US E&P at TotalEnergies, managing the full employee lifecycle, developing HR policies, leading internal and crisis communication, and ensuring HR compliance. She held this position for over six years, significantly impacting employee engagement and retention during a period of rapid operational growth.
Angela previously worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at TotalEnergies for more than four years, and earlier in her career, she ran her own consultancy, AC Hampton, Inc., offering tailored HR solutions for over three years to clients across industries.
She began her HR career as a Human Resources Staffing Coordinator at Noble Drilling, where she supported large-scale staffing initiatives and helped streamline recruitment operations for nearly a year and a half.
