Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, June 2026 — Rossari Biotech Limited has promoted Nitin Khatik to the position of Global Head – Crop Protection, recognizing his strong leadership and extensive expertise in crop protection, formulation development, specialty chemicals, business development, and global agricultural solutions.
In his expanded leadership role, Khatik will spearhead Rossari Biotech’s global crop protection business, driving product innovation, commercial growth, customer engagement, technology development, and international market expansion while strengthening the company’s position in the global agricultural chemicals industry.
Khatik has been associated with Rossari Biotech for more than two years. He joined the company as General Manager in April 2024, where he played an instrumental role in strengthening the crop protection portfolio and supporting business growth before being elevated to Global Head – Crop Protection.
Prior to joining Rossari Biotech, he spent over three years with Nouryon, serving as Sales Manager – Agriculture and Food and Account Manager – Agriculture Specialties (India Subcontinent). During his tenure, he led business development, customer relationship management, commercial strategy, and specialty solutions for the agriculture sector across the Indian subcontinent.
Earlier, Khatik built more than eight years of experience with Clariant, where he held leadership roles including Business Development Manager and Crop Solutions Manager. During this period, he led product development, business expansion, customer engagement, formulation innovation, technical services, sales strategy, and application support for crop protection markets.
He began his professional journey with United Phosphorus Ltd. (UPL), where he spent over five years as Assistant Manager – Formulation Development. His work focused on developing advanced agrochemical formulations, formulation technologies, process optimization, seed treatment solutions, polymer applications, surfactant technologies, product scale-up, and technology transfer for regulated markets.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning formulation science, crop protection technologies, specialty chemicals, business development, product innovation, technical services, and commercial leadership, Khatik brings a strong combination of scientific expertise and business acumen to his new global leadership role.
