Connecticut, United States, June 2025 — Carly (Cochran) Hatcher has been appointed as the Head of Talent Acquisition GSI North America at Munich Re, one of the world’s leading providers of reinsurance and risk solutions. In her new role, Carly will lead strategic hiring and talent development initiatives for Global Specialty Insurance (GSI) across the North American region, ensuring the alignment of talent strategy with Munich Re’s global mission of innovation, resilience, and excellence.
Carly brings with her nearly six years of experience at HSB – Hartford Steam Boiler, a proud part of Munich Re, where she played an instrumental role in shaping the talent landscape. Most recently, she served as Talent Acquisition Manager, overseeing national hiring strategies and optimizing the candidate experience across key functions. Before this, she held progressively senior roles including Talent Acquisition Partner Lead and Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, demonstrating her commitment to quality hiring, inclusive recruitment practices, and business-aligned workforce planning.
Prior to joining HSB, Carly served as Division Director at SNI Companies, where she led administrative and professional recruitment across industries, contributing to rapid team expansions and client success through staffing strategy and talent consulting.
Carly’s expertise in stakeholder management, leadership development, and employment branding will be pivotal in advancing Munich Re’s competitive edge in talent acquisition across the insurance and risk solution landscape.
