Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July 2025 – Rajan Singh has stepped into a new leadership role as Head of Business Development – Middle East and Africa at JERA Co., Inc., reinforcing the company’s strategic commitment to expanding its global presence in the energy sector. In his new role, Rajan will be responsible for spearheading business development initiatives across various segments of the value chain, including LNG, renewable energy, power generation, hydrogen, and ammonia, across the Middle East and Africa region.
Before taking over as Head of Business Development, Rajan Singh served as Development Director at JERA, where he was based in Dubai and led global business development efforts (excluding the Americas). Under his leadership, Aljomaih significantly expanded its footprint in global PPP and IPP markets.
Before Aljomaih, he was associated with Sojitz Corporation, where he worked for more than two years as Business Development Manager, focusing on renewable and conventional power projects in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. He played a crucial role in project origination and international collaborations in these regions.
His earlier stints include roles at ACCIONA, Culligan International, and Enhanced Wapp Systems, where he handled business development, project finance, proposal engineering, and bid management for water, desalination, and energy projects.
