Athens, Greece, September 2025 – Lifebit has announced that Adonis Garefalakis has taken on the role of Senior Director of People & Performance. In this position, he will lead global HR strategy, people development, and organizational performance initiatives, supporting Lifebit’s mission to revolutionize bioinformatics and biomedical data analysis.
Garefalakis has been with Lifebit since 2024, most recently serving as Director of People & Performance, where he contributed significantly to enhancing organizational development, HR strategy, and leadership coaching. His performance in this role laid the foundation for his elevation to Senior Director.
Before joining Lifebit, he worked at The Signal Group as Director of People and Culture, where he focused on culture change, talent assessment, succession planning, and organizational development for nearly four years. His leadership in change initiatives helped the company strengthen its people strategy.
Previously, Garefalakis served at Blueground as Director, Global Employee Engagement, where he spearheaded global engagement strategies for a growing tech-enabled living solutions provider. Prior to that, he held dual roles at Apollo.io, including Director of People & Culture and Director of Human Resources, where he supported organizational growth and talent management.
Earlier in his career, he held HR leadership roles at Dynamic Signal, ezhome, and co-founded Hopinside, Inc., a ridesharing startup. He also began his career in consulting with Dowling Associates and DKS Associates, where he combined project management expertise with HR strategy for engineering and transportation projects.
