Jasdeep Singh Appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition at University of Cyberjaya

Selangor, Malaysia, October 2025 — Jasdeep Singh has been appointed as Head of Talent Acquisition at the University of Cyberjaya, where he will lead the institution’s talent acquisition strategies to attract, develop, and retain top academic and professional talent. His appointment strengthens the University’s vision of building a future-ready workforce that contributes to its reputation as one of Southeast Asia’s premier institutions.

In his most recent role, Jasdeep was Talent Acquisition Specialist at Mintel, where he managed end-to-end recruitment, developed sustainable talent strategies, and collaborated on workforce transformation projects across Malaysia, EMEA, and the Americas. His expertise in stakeholder management, employer branding, and recruitment innovation was pivotal to Mintel’s talent strategy.

Before Mintel, Jasdeep contributed at KSK Group Berhad as Assistant Manager, People & Culture, where he focused on talent sourcing, manpower planning, and employer branding. He also managed campus outreach and annual recruitment initiatives, ensuring the development of efficient HR strategies.

Earlier, he worked with PLUS Malaysia as Assistant Manager, Talent Acquisition & Branding, leading proactive sourcing strategies, recruitment campaigns, and candidate experience initiatives. His contributions helped build long-term talent pipelines and strengthened the employer brand.

Jasdeep’s career also includes a role at DKSH as Assistant Manager, Resourcing & Talent Acquisition, where he delivered recruitment solutions across consumer goods, food service, and technology verticals. Prior to that, he worked with PETRONAS Lubricants International on HR projects and policy harmonization across the APAC region, ensuring compliance and performance excellence. His early career journey included HR leadership roles at Kudrat Partners Co., Grand Paradise Holdings Sdn Bhd, and initial stints in Proton and TLC Worldwide, giving him a strong foundation in HR operations, recruitment, and talent management.

With his diverse cross-industry experience in HR, recruitment, and organizational development, Jasdeep brings deep expertise in building impactful teams, developing employer branding strategies, and driving innovation in recruitment.
