Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, October 2025 – Amtech Software, a leading global provider of ERP and business intelligence solutions for the packaging and labeling industries, has announced the appointment of Vinod Kumar as its new Chief People & Culture Officer. In this role, Kumar will lead the development of a global talent strategy, shape a high-performance culture, and strengthen Amtech’s ability to scale as a global enterprise. Additionally, he will oversee and expand Amtech’s operations in India, reinforcing the company’s global footprint and talent excellence initiatives.
Vinod Kumar brings nearly two decades of human capital leadership experience across global technology, SaaS, and services organizations, with deep expertise in HR transformation, M&A integration, global workforce strategy, and leadership development.
Before joining Amtech Software, Vinod served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Khoros, where he led the company’s global HR transformation across more than 10 countries. Under his leadership, Khoros India evolved into a world-class Global Capability Center (GCC) with over 350 employees and consecutive Great Place to Work® certifications. He designed and implemented global DEI frameworks, advanced leadership pipelines, and integrated multinational teams post-acquisition, building a culture of agility and innovation.
Previously, as Vice President, International Talent & Site Leader at Khoros, Vinod drove global workforce design and site operations across EMEA, APAC, and India. He established governance for the India GCC, scaled international teams, and led initiatives to improve engagement, succession readiness, and talent mobility.
Earlier in his tenure at Khoros, Vinod held key HR leadership roles including Senior Director, Talent – APAC & EMEA and Director, Human Resources, where he was instrumental in building leadership capabilities, harmonizing people practices post-merger, and aligning HR strategy with rapid business growth.
Before his successful tenure at Khoros, Vinod worked with Ellucian, where he played a pivotal role in integrating the SunGard–Ellucian acquisition, launching India’s first internship program, and reducing voluntary attrition to single digits through targeted engagement programs. His early career included roles at SunGard Technology Services and Alp Consulting Ltd., where he gained strong foundational experience in recruitment and human capital management.
Vinod is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he completed his Postgraduate Certification in Human Resource Management, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Bangalore University.
