Surrey, England, United Kingdom, January 2026 — Shajeda Ahmed has started her new role as Chief People Officer at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT), marking a significant leadership appointment as the Trust continues to strengthen its people, culture and inclusion agenda across its healthcare network.
In her new role, Ahmed will lead FHFT’s people and organizational development strategy, focusing on workforce transformation, leadership development, inclusion, wellbeing and building high-performing multidisciplinary teams aligned with the Trust’s long-term vision of delivering exceptional health and wellbeing services to communities.
Prior to joining FHFT, Ahmed served for over three years as Chief People Officer at NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board, where she led people strategy across the integrated care system, strengthening workforce planning, organizational development and inclusion frameworks. Before that, she held the role of Executive Director of People, Organisational Development & Inclusion at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust, driving enterprise-wide workforce transformation and inclusive culture initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Ahmed was Associate Director of Workforce & Organisational Development at Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, building strong foundations in workforce planning, talent development and organizational design across large public healthcare systems.
She holds a Master’s degree from the University of Wolverhampton.
