Penang, Malaysia, February 2026 — Patricia Teh has started a new position as Chief Operating Officer at Sunway Medical Centre Penang, where she will oversee operational leadership and strategic execution as the hospital continues to expand its role as a leading tertiary healthcare provider in Northern Malaysia.
Patricia Teh brings extensive leadership experience from Sunway Medical Centre, where she most recently served as Senior Finance Director. In that role, she provided strategic financial leadership aligned with organizational goals, supported clinical and operational initiatives, and collaborated across functions to strengthen financial planning and operational efficiency.
Prior to that, she served as Director of Finance at Sunway Medical Centre, spearheading finance services including accounts, business operations, logistics, warehouse management, strategic sourcing, and procurement. Her work contributed to strengthening integrated financial and operational frameworks within the healthcare institution.
Earlier in her career, Patricia Teh held senior leadership roles across diverse industries, including Sunway Berhad, where she led financial affairs for new start-up ventures and worked closely with joint venture partners and investment teams. She also served as General Manager, Finance at Oriental Castle Group, overseeing group finance, corporate affairs, IT, and ERP operations across ASEAN and China, and held key finance leadership roles at GIIB Group and Triplc Bhd, managing statutory compliance, group reporting, and financial system implementation.
She began her professional journey in audit with Wong Liu & Partners, where she conducted external audits, special audits, and merger and acquisition audits, building a strong technical foundation in finance and governance.
