Doha, Qatar, February 2026 — Turki Abdulaziz Al-Subaie has started a new position as Director of Human Capital & Administration at Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council, where he is leading the end-to-end human capital and administration strategy to support the Council’s mission-driven workforce and Qatar’s national innovation agenda. In this role, he oversees organizational design, total rewards, workforce planning, and governance frameworks, shaping compensation structures and performance mechanisms to attract highly specialized scientific and policy talent while ensuring fiscal discipline and regulatory alignment.
Prior to this appointment, Turki Abdulaziz Al-Subaie served as Senior Manager – Human Resources at Qatar Airways, where he oversaw the Group’s compensation and benefits function. He managed salary structures, benchmarking, and pay governance across a multinational workforce, driving analytics-led decision-making and aligning compensation strategy with organizational objectives.
Earlier, he spent several years with QLM Insurance, most recently as Chief Administrative Officer, leading human resources, legal, administrative, and IT functions. During this time, he strengthened operational governance, enhanced organizational processes, and managed strategic stakeholder relationships with key regulatory bodies. He also held leadership responsibilities in finance and administration at Qatar Insurance Company, building deep expertise in financial planning, operational management, and cross-functional strategy.
Turki Abdulaziz Al-Subaie holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Financial Management from Birkbeck, University of London, complementing his multidisciplinary leadership experience across human capital and finance.
