Alpharetta, Georgia, United States, February 2026 — Melissa Kratko has started a new position as Director, Human Resources at Owens & Minor. In this expanded leadership role, she will oversee strategic human resources initiatives supporting the company’s workforce and organizational growth.
Prior to her appointment, Melissa Kratko progressed through multiple HR leadership roles at Owens & Minor, including Senior Human Resources Manager, Human Resource Business Partner, and earlier HR generalist and coordinator positions, steadily building deep expertise in HR operations and business partnership.
Before joining Owens & Minor, she served as Client Service Manager at LaJoy Group, where she led full-cycle recruitment and on-site HR support. Earlier in her career, she held operational and supervisory roles at Sodexo and Life Time, developing strong foundations in people management, training, and customer-focused operations. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University.
