Woodmead, South Africa, March 2026 — Yolandie Jansen van Vuuren has started a new position as Head of People and Culture at Minopex. Working in a hybrid capacity, she joins the company with deep HR leadership experience across mining, industrial, and diversified business environments, spanning human capital strategy, labor relations, HR governance, and workforce transformation.
Prior to joining Minopex, Yolandie Jansen van Vuuren served at Sandvik as Head of Human Resources Sandvik SRP RSA, where she led HR responsibilities through a period of business alignment and people leadership. Alongside this, she has also been associated with Qadash Consulting as a Consulting Executive in a self-employed capacity.
Earlier, she worked as Group Head Human Capital at Izwe Africa Group, and before that served as Head of Human Resources at OASIS CRESCENT GROUP HOLDINGS (SA), contributing to HR leadership and strategic reporting.
She previously spent over five years with Senwes as Group Executive HR, where her responsibilities spanned board relations, strategic planning, HRIS, remuneration, HR policies, union relations, business process improvement, and labor relations.
Her earlier experience includes an HR project leadership assignment with Masimong Consultants for Mopani Copper Mine, Zambia, where she contributed to human capital function planning and strategic consulting. She spent over a decade with AngloGold Ashanti, serving as Snr HR Officer / Acting HR Manager, with responsibilities spanning staffing, payroll oversight, time and attendance, recruitment and selection for scarce skills and management roles, performance management, labor relations, employment equity, training and development, and SAP user rollout support.
