Pune, Maharashtra, India, March 2026 – Bharat Forge Ltd has appointed Srinivasu Malladi as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening its leadership team as the company continues expanding across global engineering and manufacturing markets.
Malladi confirmed the development in a LinkedIn update, noting that he was “starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Bharat Forge Ltd.” In this role, he will oversee the company’s end-to-end human resources agenda, including workforce transformation, talent development, organisational design, industrial relations, and HR strategy across its global operations.
Malladi has been associated with Bharat Forge Ltd for over two years and previously served as Vice President & Head HR, where he led the HR function for the organisation and partnered closely with CXOs and promoters to deploy HR strategy, HR transformation initiatives, organisational redesign, and talent development programs. He also led HR shared services for the Kalyani Group, delivering technology-driven employee experience across multiple entities and supporting large-scale workforce operations.
Prior to joining Bharat Forge, Malladi served as Senior Director – Human Resources at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited, where he provided leadership for HR and industrial relations across multiple manufacturing sites and drove key talent initiatives including learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement across the manufacturing organisation.
Earlier in his career, he served as Manufacturing HR Head at Granules India Limited, overseeing HR operations for a large manufacturing workforce across multiple factories. He also held HR leadership roles with GSK Consumer Healthcare India, Johnson & Johnson, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, gaining extensive experience in HR strategy, employee relations, and large-scale industrial workforce management.
Malladi began his career in the Government of Andhra Pradesh as a Civil Servant, where he worked in development administration, agriculture, rural development, and cooperative regulation before moving into corporate HR leadership roles. His early professional experience also includes roles with NCR Corporation and MTNL.
He holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Hyderabad.
