New Delhi, India, May 2026 — Debasis Satapathy has been promoted to the role of Executive Director at NBCC (India) Limited, reinforcing the organization’s leadership strength as it continues to expand its footprint across India and global markets.
In his new role, Debasis is expected to drive strategic people initiatives, foster a culture of excellence, and contribute to the organization’s continued growth and transformation.
Debasis has been associated with NBCC (India) Limited for over a decade. Prior to his elevation, he served as Chief General Manager – HR, where he led the learning and development function and played a critical role in strengthening organizational capabilities and leadership pipelines.
Before joining NBCC, he held leadership roles in learning and development and human resources across leading organizations. At Radikal Foods Limited, he served as Head of Training and Development, driving organization development initiatives, talent management frameworks, and competency-based interventions.
He also spent significant time at Bharti Airtel Limited, where as Head – Training & Development, he delivered large-scale leadership development programs, enhanced employee engagement, and introduced structured talent grooming initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Debasis worked with Idea Cellular as Head of Training Development, where he designed and implemented impactful training programs across multiple domains, and with Spice Net Ltd as Head – HR, managing large, distributed workforces across the country.
Beyond his corporate career, he is also a thought leader and speaker, having delivered sessions to thousands of executives and authored over 200 management lessons inspired by the Mahabharata.
Debasis holds a Post Graduate qualification in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier institutions for human resource management.
With over two decades of experience in HR leadership, talent development, and organizational transformation, Debasis brings a strong capability in building leadership pipelines, driving employee engagement, and aligning people strategies with business goals. His promotion reflects the organization’s emphasis on strengthening internal leadership and sustaining long-term growth.
