Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 – Nanda Kumar has stepped into a new role as Global HR Business Partner – Global MOIS, MOLI and India Corporate at ABB, marking a significant progression in his long-standing association with the organization. In this role, he will work closely with global business leaders to drive strategic HR initiatives, strengthen organizational capability, and support enterprise-wide transformation across key business units.
Nanda Kumar has spent close to a decade with ABB, where he has consistently contributed to the organization’s global HR agenda. Prior to this appointment, he served for over five years as Global HR – Leadership Learning Coach, where he played a key role in building leadership capability, designing impactful learning journeys, and supporting global talent development initiatives across the enterprise.
Before that, he worked as Learning Partner – India and South Asia, where he was instrumental in driving regional learning strategies and enabling workforce capability building. His earlier role as Compensation & Benefit Manager – Asia & ANZ saw him leading reward frameworks and compensation strategies across multiple geographies, contributing to employee value proposition and organizational competitiveness.
Prior to joining ABB, Nanda Kumar served as Senior HR Business Partner – Technology Augmentation at Accolite India, where he supported business growth through HR partnership, talent strategy, and organizational development initiatives in a fast-paced technology environment.
Earlier in his career, he spent over eight years at Target, holding multiple roles including Senior Lead – Corporate HR, Subject Matter Expert – HR, and Senior Executive HR, building deep expertise across HR operations, business partnering, and talent management. He began his professional journey with Fidelity Investments, where he worked in benefits and HR operations roles, laying a strong foundation in human resources.
