Sakthi Priya Joins Equitas Small Finance Bank as AVP HR - Talent Management

Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, May 2026 — Sakthi Priya has started a new position as AVP HR – Talent Management at Equitas Small Finance Bank, marking a significant milestone in her accomplished human resources and talent leadership journey across banking, financial services, insurance, and fintech sectors.

In her new role, Priya will lead talent management, employee lifecycle, engagement, retention, and people development initiatives, strengthening Equitas Small Finance Bank’s workforce strategy as the institution continues expanding its community-focused banking ecosystem.

Before joining Equitas Small Finance Bank, Priya served as Assistant General Manager Human Resources at CreditSutra, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and scaling the HR function. Her work included designing foundational HR systems, building employee engagement frameworks, creating organizational policies, streamlining hiring processes, and implementing grievance management strategies aligned with business objectives.

Prior to CreditSutra, she served as Manager – Human Capital at PROTIUM, where she strengthened human capital practices and supported talent and workforce management initiatives within the growing financial services platform.

Earlier, Priya held HR leadership roles at Tata AIG General Insurance, Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd, Religare Health Insurance, and Max Life Insurance, where she developed broad expertise across employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, branch HR operations, employee welfare, grievance handling, and organizational capability building.

Her early career also included HR internships with Titan Company Limited and Future Group, laying the foundation for her extensive people management expertise.

With over a decade of progressive HR leadership experience, Priya brings strong capabilities in talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, HR transformation, and people strategy to Equitas Small Finance Bank.
