The appointment comes at a pivotal phase of growth for Ironclad as the company continues expanding its AI contracting platform while strengthening its globally recognized workplace culture and innovation capabilities. Over the past year, Ironclad has significantly expanded its leadership team with hires from companies including Google, Snowflake, and Docusign, while earning recognition from Fast Company, Forbes, and Fortune for its workplace culture and AI innovation initiatives.
Commenting on his appointment, Mike Jordan shared that Ironclad’s collaborative and passionate culture stood out immediately during the interview process. Former Chief People Officer Ambrosia Vertesi will transition into a new internal role focused on strategic people initiatives.
Prior to joining Ironclad, Mike Jordan served at Asana for nearly five years, most recently as SVP, Head of Talent, Learning, and Strategy, where he led People Partners, talent management, employee relations, culture, and organizational strategy initiatives. During his tenure, he embedded an AI-first approach across people operations, improving decision-making, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
He also briefly served as Interim Chief People Officer at Asana, leading the global people function during a transformational phase for the company while advancing AI-enabled talent and workforce strategies.
Earlier, Mike Jordan spent more than seven years with HP, including as SVP, Global Head of Talent and Learning, where he oversaw talent management, succession planning, executive development, learning strategy, and workforce transformation initiatives for the company’s 60,000-employee global workforce. He worked closely with the CHRO and Board on executive succession, leadership continuity, and organizational agility while driving large-scale digital transformation and enterprise learning modernization.
Prior to HP, he held multiple leadership assignments at DigitalGlobe, leading business transformation, organizational development, learning and development, executive coaching, change management, and workforce scaling initiatives during periods of rapid international growth and IPO transition.
His earlier professional journey also includes leadership and training roles at Janus Capital Group, Verizon Wireless, consulting assignments with Sony and Shell Oil, and organizational leadership work with AmeriCorps, where he built strong expertise in leadership development, succession planning, performance management, organizational design, and talent transformation.
