Mumbai, India, June 2026 – Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has promoted Kondiba Misal to the position of General Manager – Human Resources, recognizing his extensive contributions to the organization and his longstanding leadership in human resources, administration, employee relations, and organizational development.
Misal’s elevation marks another milestone in a career spanning nearly two decades in human resources. In his new role, he will continue to drive people strategy, talent management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across one of India’s leading global engineering and infrastructure companies.
Having spent more than 13 years within the Kalpataru Group, Misal has steadily progressed through a series of leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Deputy General Manager – HR & Administration at Kalpataru Projects International Limited, where he played a key role in strengthening HR systems, supporting workforce growth, and aligning people practices with business objectives.
Prior to this, he held positions including Assistant General Manager – HR, Senior Manager – HR, and HR Manager at Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, contributing significantly to the company’s talent acquisition, compensation management, workforce planning, employee engagement, and HR governance initiatives during a period of substantial domestic and international expansion.
Before joining the Kalpataru Group, Misal spent more than six years with Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd, where he managed a broad spectrum of HR responsibilities, including statutory compliance, industrial relations, government liaison, compensation and payroll administration, performance management, employee engagement, onboarding, and separation processes.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise across human resources management, industrial relations, statutory compliance, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational administration. His promotion reflects KPIL’s commitment to recognizing internal talent and strengthening leadership capabilities as the company continues to expand its global operations.
