Los Angeles, California, United States, June 2026 — Karen E. Mozes has been appointed as Global Director of Professional and Leadership Development at Gensler.In her new role, Mozes will lead the strategies and programs that support the professional growth, leadership development, and capability building of more than 6,500 team members across Gensler’s global network. Her appointment reflects the firm’s continued focus on investing in talent, strengthening leadership pipelines, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Mozes has been part of Gensler for nearly eight years. Prior to this appointment, she served as Southwest Region Director of Professional Development, where she worked closely with leadership teams, HR professionals, learning specialists, and employees across the region to assess development needs, design training pathways, and implement leadership and professional development programs. She was also elevated to Principal at Gensler, recognizing her contributions to talent development and organizational growth.
Alongside her corporate leadership responsibilities, Mozes has served as President of Cinco Consulting Solutions LLC for more than a decade, where she has provided executive coaching, leadership development programs, business coaching, retreats, and professional training initiatives. She also co-founded The Business of Yoga LLC, supporting professionals within the wellness community through coaching and mentorship.
Earlier in her career, she was Principal at Green Dinosaur, Inc., where she led climate-responsive design and building envelope optimization initiatives while contributing to business development, training, and marketing efforts.Before that, Mozes spent more than five years with Arup, serving as both Facade Consultant/Building Physics Specialist and Mechanical Engineer. During this period, she worked on energy modeling, building performance optimization, commissioning, sustainability initiatives, and environmental design projects across multiple international markets.
She began her professional journey with Integrated Structures Inc., where she contributed to architectural and structural design projects across various sectors.With extensive experience spanning leadership development, executive coaching, organizational effectiveness, professional training, sustainability consulting, and engineering, Mozes brings a unique multidisciplinary perspective to her new global leadership role.
