Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 2026 — Safia Laheraitani has joined Capgemini Invent Middle East as Vice President – Head of Energy, Transition & Utilities.Laheraitani brings extensive global consulting experience across the Middle East and Europe, with deep expertise in digital transformation, innovation, AI-enabled programs, emerging technologies, energy consulting, operations, and large-scale business transformation. In her new role, she will help expand and strengthen Capgemini Invent’s Energy, Transition & Utilities capabilities across the Middle East region.
Prior to joining Capgemini Invent, Laheraitani spent more than 16 years with EY, where she held several leadership roles across consulting, operations, and energy transformation. Most recently, she served as Head of Operations for MENA Energy Consulting, where she focused on performance management, revenue and profit growth, operational excellence, and regional consulting delivery.
Earlier at EY, she served as Director – Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies, leading complex transformation programs focused on business innovation, design thinking, digital modernization, AI-enabled solutions, and technology-led value creation for major clients in the energy sector. She also held roles as Senior Manager, Manager, and Consultant, building extensive consulting experience across Dubai and Paris.
Her early professional experience includes roles at La Poste as Business Analyst, Bouygues Telecom as Radio Network Engineer, SGAM as Junior Project Leader, and SG Private Banking as Patrimonial Engineer Assistant. With her strong background in energy consulting, innovation, AI-led transformation, operations, and digital strategy, Laheraitani is expected to play a key role in strengthening Capgemini Invent Middle East’s regional industry capabilities and connecting clients to the firm’s global transformation expertise.
