Kaustuv’s progression at slice reflects a strong track record of building high-performing teams, scaling critical business functions, and partnering closely with leadership to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. Since joining the organization in 2021, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening hiring capabilities across analytics, product, design, finance, marketing, operations, sales, compliance, and banking functions.
Most recently, as Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, Kaustuv led non-technology hiring across the organization and delivered exceptional hiring outcomes. During FY 2025-26, he successfully helped onboard more than 2,100 employees across lateral, sales, and operations roles with a lean recruiting team and without external vendor support. He also played a key role in hiring strategic leadership talent, including senior compliance executives, while building a recruiter team capable of operating at scale.
Prior to this, he led talent acquisition efforts supporting slice’s transformation into a new-age banking platform. Working closely with business leaders, he helped build critical functions from the ground up, including customer experience operations, video KYC capabilities, secured lending teams, treasury, credit, and compliance functions. His efforts contributed significantly to the rapid scaling of several strategic business initiatives.
As a Senior Talent Partner, Kaustuv was instrumental in leadership hiring, workforce planning, market mapping, and employer branding initiatives. He also spearheaded campus hiring programs across premier engineering and management institutions, helping strengthen the company’s future talent pipeline.
Before joining slice, Kaustuv built his recruitment expertise with Techaxis Inc., where he progressed into leadership roles managing North American SaaS hiring and executive search assignments for global organizations.
In his new role as AVP – Talent Acquisition, Kaustuv will continue to lead talent strategy and workforce growth initiatives, supporting slice’s mission of redefining banking through customer-centric digital products and innovative financial services.
His promotion highlights the increasing strategic importance of talent acquisition in scaling modern fintech organizations and reflects slice’s commitment to recognizing leaders who drive both business outcomes and organizational capability building.
