Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Waterfield Advisors has promoted Shivani Sharma to the position of Assistant Vice President – Compliance, Legal and Secretarial.
Sharma has been associated with Waterfield Advisors for more than three years and has held leadership responsibilities across compliance, regulatory governance, legal, and secretarial functions.
Prior to her promotion, she served as Senior Manager, where she supported compliance and governance initiatives across the organization.
Earlier, she held the position of Manager – Compliance, overseeing compliance management activities and supporting regulatory, legal, and operational governance requirements. During her tenure, she worked across compliance frameworks, risk mitigation initiatives, regulatory adherence, anti-money laundering controls, and governance processes.
Before joining Waterfield Advisors, Sharma spent more than four years with MMJC, where she progressed through a series of roles of increasing responsibility.
She served as Sub Team Leader, supporting compliance, governance, project execution, and client advisory activities. Earlier, she worked as Assistant Manager, contributing to compliance management and operational support initiatives.
She began her professional career at MMJC as a Management Trainee, building foundational experience in compliance, regulatory processes, governance practices, and project management.
Throughout her career, Sharma has developed expertise across compliance management, legal and secretarial functions, regulatory governance, anti-money laundering frameworks, corporate compliance, risk management, project execution, and stakeholder coordination.
