Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, July 2026 — Gufic Biosciences Ltd. has appointed Ganesan Krishnamoorthy as President – Supply Chain Management, strengthening its leadership team with a highly accomplished pharmaceutical supply chain executive. Bringing more than 40 years of techno-commercial experience, Ganesan will lead the company’s supply chain strategy, overseeing procurement, strategic sourcing, manufacturing partnerships, planning, logistics, and operational excellence as Gufic continues to expand its global footprint and enhance patient-centric healthcare solutions.
Recognized for his problem-solving approach and ability to build high-performance teams, Ganesan has developed deep expertise across manufacturing operations, contract manufacturing, finished product sourcing, global supply chain management, technology transfer, and alliance management. His extensive industry experience positions him to support Gufic Biosciences’ continued growth by strengthening supply security, optimizing global delivery systems, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Gufic Biosciences, Ganesan spent over seven years at Cipla Ltd., where he most recently served as Vice President – Finished Product Sourcing. In this role, he led global contract manufacturing partnerships, managed alliances with more than 125 manufacturing partners worldwide, negotiated strategic commercial agreements, and oversaw technology transfers, regulatory coordination, and product sourcing for international markets. Earlier, as Senior Director – Finished Product Sourcing, he led a global team responsible for ensuring supply continuity, new product delivery, and execution of technical and commercial partnerships.
Before Cipla, Ganesan served as Associate Vice President at Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd., where he headed the contract manufacturing function, managing supplies from over 100 third-party manufacturing sites serving global markets. He played a key role in identifying manufacturing partners, executing technology transfers, supporting new product commercialization, and strengthening the company’s global supply chain capabilities.
Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership positions at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, including Senior General Manager – Contract Manufacturing, General Manager – Contract Manufacturing, and Deputy General Manager – Production Planning, where he successfully managed extensive contract manufacturing operations, vendor development, commercial negotiations, production planning, and large-scale product launches. He also gained valuable experience at Orchid as Manager – PPIC and began his professional journey with Tamil Nadu Dadha Pharmaceuticals Ltd., laying the foundation for a distinguished career spanning four decades in the pharmaceutical industry.
