Boston, Massachusetts, United States, July 2026 — Mastercard has appointed Kristin Vaccaro as Principal Program Manager, Career Ecosystem, strengthening its talent and career development capabilities with a leader known for building innovative learning, leadership, and workforce development programs.
In her new role, Kristin will help shape Mastercard’s career ecosystem by designing scalable talent development initiatives, strengthening internal mobility, and creating career experiences that support employee growth while aligning workforce capabilities with the organization’s long-term business strategy.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Kristin spent nearly five years at Workday, where she most recently served as Senior Program Manager, Marketing Learning & Development. During her tenure, she built and scaled an AI enablement framework that achieved high organizational adoption, developed executive learning programs to strengthen data and marketing technology capabilities, architected enterprise mentorship and leadership development initiatives, and created cross-functional enablement programs that improved collaboration, employee engagement, and business impact.
Earlier at Workday, she served as Senior Marketing Operations Program Manager, People Initiatives and Enablement, supporting strategic people initiatives, organizational effectiveness, and marketing enablement programs that strengthened workforce capability and employee experience.
Before Workday, Kristin spent four years with Harvard Business School Executive Education, where she progressed from Manager, Program Advising to Senior Manager, Program Advising. She led high-performing teams, enhanced operational efficiency through data-driven processes, developed onboarding frameworks, coached professionals pursuing executive education, and designed engagement initiatives that strengthened organizational culture and learning outcomes.
Earlier in her career, Kristin spent nearly seven years with CAPA – The Global Education Network, progressing through multiple leadership roles, including Inbound Marketing Strategist, Supervisor of Student Admissions, and Student Admission Counselor. She led marketing transformation initiatives, implemented CRM-driven recruitment strategies, developed Salesforce-based business processes, and improved admissions operations through technology and process innovation.
She began her professional career with CISabroad, where she held progressively responsible roles including Student Advising Assistant Manager, Senior Student Advisor, and Program Assistant, building strong expertise in student engagement, operations, customer experience, and program management. Earlier, she also gained experience as a Student Teacher and Substitute at Easthampton High School and as an Office Assistant at LAZ Parking Ltd.
Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Management from the Harvard Extension School, further strengthening her expertise in leadership, organizational management, and business strategy.
With more than fifteen years of experience spanning learning and development, talent enablement, leadership development, career programs, operations, and organizational effectiveness, Kristin brings a strong combination of strategic thinking and execution to Mastercard’s evolving career ecosystem.
