Athens, Greece, July 2026 — Procter & Gamble (P&G) has appointed Panagiotis Nikakis as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for South East Europe, strengthening its digital leadership as the company continues to accelerate technology-driven innovation and data-enabled business transformation across the region.
In his new role, Panagiotis will lead the organization’s technology strategy, digital transformation, data initiatives, and IT operations across South East Europe, helping accelerate business growth through digital capabilities, advanced analytics, and technology innovation. His appointment comes after successfully leading several strategic digital and analytics initiatives across P&G’s European operations.
Prior to becoming CIO, Panagiotis served as Director – Europe Consumer Digital Products and Data Strategy, where he led digital consumer products and enterprise data strategy initiatives across Europe. Earlier, he was Director – Europe Analytics Capabilities Leader, responsible for advancing analytics capabilities and driving data-led decision making across the business.
Before that, he served as Senior Manager – South East Europe Analytics Leader, followed by Customer Analytics Manager, building strong expertise in analytics, digital transformation, customer insights, and business intelligence during his more than seven-year journey with Procter & Gamble.
Earlier in his career, Panagiotis gained experience in business development at Welcome Pickups and digital marketing at SLEED, providing him with a strong commercial and digital foundation before joining P&G.
With nearly a decade of experience spanning technology, analytics, digital transformation, consumer data, business intelligence, digital products, customer analytics, AI-driven decision making, data strategy, and business innovation, Panagiotis has established himself as a leader in leveraging technology and data to create measurable business value.
His appointment underscores Procter & Gamble’s continued investment in digital transformation and its commitment to harnessing technology, analytics, and innovation to strengthen business performance across international markets.
