Gurugram, Haryana, India, May 2025 — Abhay Kumar has joined BPTP Ltd. as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing with him over two decades of multifaceted experience across real estate, luxury retail, fintech, and consumer goods. In his new role, Kumar will drive brand positioning, marketing strategy, digital transformation, and customer engagement to strengthen BPTP’s presence in the competitive real estate landscape.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, Kumar has had a distinguished career in marketing and digital leadership roles at globally recognized organizations. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – Marketing and Digital at DAMAC Properties, where he successfully led digital-first marketing strategies and customer-centric initiatives across global markets.
Previously, Kumar also held the position of Global Chief Marketing Officer at Roberto Cavalli in Milan, where he spearheaded rebranding and digital transformation efforts for the luxury fashion house and its group brands. His extensive leadership experience also includes a tenure as Group Chief Marketing & Digital Officer at Reliance Capital, where he was instrumental in enhancing the digital commerce footprint and delivering significant online sales growth in India’s financial services sector.
Earlier in his career, Kumar held strategic roles at renowned companies such as Disney+ Hotstar, where he drove consumer adoption for India’s leading streaming platform; Samsung Electronics, American Express, and GE Capital, where he was responsible for category leadership, marketing, and product strategy. He started his career at Maruti Suzuki India Limited in sales and dealer management.
