Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, February 2026 —Stellantis has appointed Parshuram Kolekar as Head of Manufacturing (Vice President) – India & Asia Pacific, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within the global automotive sector.
In this role, Parshuram will lead manufacturing strategy and operations across India and the Asia Pacific region, focusing on operational excellence, efficiency, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and sustainable growth aligned with Stellantis’ innovation roadmap. The region plays a strategic role in Stellantis’ global footprint, manufacturing Jeep®, Citroën, Peugeot, and Leapmotor vehicles, along with powertrains exported to multiple global plants.
Parshuram has been with Stellantis for over four years, most recently serving as Plant Director – Stellantis Gurun Malaysia, where he led the acquisition and merger of Naza Automotive to establish the company’s first fully owned manufacturing facility in ASEAN. Under his leadership, the Gurun plant achieved global benchmark performance, emerging as the Best Performer plant among 48 Stellantis manufacturing facilities worldwide. He secured green certification for global quality standards, strengthened customer satisfaction metrics, and established a world-class DOJO training school to enhance workforce capability and morale.
Prior to Stellantis, he held senior leadership positions at Adient, where he served as Country Director – Indonesia & Director Operations – Malaysia, driving multi-country P&L leadership, operational restructuring, footprint optimization, and successful turnaround initiatives across five manufacturing locations. He also led Foam & Trim Operations APAC, overseeing nine manufacturing facilities across Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia, focusing on process standardization, cost optimization, and product innovation.
Earlier in his career, Parshuram spent over 14 years at Johnson Controls, progressing through key roles including Plant Manager and Operations Leadership positions. During this tenure, he delivered award-winning operational performance, secured major customer quality recognitions, drove plant transformations, and led profit center operations across multiple high-complexity manufacturing environments.
He holds an MBA from Nottingham University Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, where he graduated as a Gold Medalist.
His appointment reflects Stellantis’ commitment to strengthening manufacturing leadership across high-growth markets and delivering world-class operational excellence across India and Asia Pacific.
