Raj Upadhyay Joins Coforge as Vice President & Head of Technology Infrastructure

Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, May 2026 — Raj Upadhyay has joined Coforge as Vice President & Head of Technology Infrastructure, marking a significant leadership move in the global digital services and solutions company’s technology ecosystem. In this strategic role, Upadhyay will spearhead technology infrastructure operations, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, and large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives, supporting Coforge’s continued growth as a global IT powerhouse.

Prior to joining Coforge, Upadhyay served as Vice President of Technology at EXL, where he played a critical leadership role in overseeing enterprise technology strategy and infrastructure modernization. His tenure at EXL further strengthened his expertise in IT transformation, operational scalability, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Before EXL, Upadhyay spent over six years at Genpact, where he held progressive leadership roles including Vice President Information Technology, Assistant Vice President, and earlier AVP – Enterprise Architecture Team. During this period, he led global IT infrastructure design, enterprise architecture, digital transformation programs, cost optimization strategies, and large-scale project execution across multiple international markets. His contributions were instrumental in delivering scalable, business-centric IT ecosystems while managing complex technology portfolios.

Earlier in his career, Upadhyay held senior technology leadership positions at UnitedHealth Group, HCL Technologies, HP, IBM, Wipro Infotech, and IGATE, building deep expertise across network operations, infrastructure planning, enterprise architecture, telecom, vendor management, and global IT service delivery. Across more than two decades, he has consistently demonstrated excellence in driving enterprise-scale infrastructure innovation, operational resilience, and technology-enabled business growth.

With his broad experience spanning IT infrastructure, enterprise architecture, project management, and digital transformation, Upadhyay’s appointment is expected to significantly strengthen Coforge’s infrastructure leadership as the company accelerates its AI, cloud, automation, and digital engineering capabilities worldwide.
