Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Abhinav Jain has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer – Private Credit at Ashika Investment Managers, marking a significant leadership move within India’s alternative investment and private credit ecosystem. In his new role, Abhinav will lead the firm’s private credit platform, strengthening capital deployment strategies, portfolio governance, and long-term value creation across structured and special situation financing.
In his current professional journey, Abhinav Jain has taken on the role of CEO – Private Credit at Ashika Investment Managers, where he is entrusted with building scalable private credit strategies and strengthening the firm’s alternative investment franchise across diverse asset classes and market cycles.
Immediately prior, Abhinav served as Managing Director at Edelweiss Alternatives, where he played a key role in structuring and scaling private credit platforms, overseeing fund deployment, portfolio performance, and investor relationships across high-growth and special situation strategies.
Before this, he worked as Fund Manager – Private Credit at IIFL Asset Management, leading structured debt strategies and managing complex lending portfolios across multiple sectors, strengthening institutional credit underwriting and capital allocation frameworks.
Earlier in his career, Abhinav spent over a decade with Future Capital (Capital First Limited) as Vice President – Corporate Lending, where he led origination and execution of structured finance, sponsor financing, capital market financing, and special situation transactions, while also overseeing loan syndication and sell-down strategies. He also built foundational banking experience at Edelweiss Capital, Deutsche Bank, and IDBI Bank, developing deep expertise in corporate banking and relationship management.
