Adriana Apanavicius Macieira Elevated to Global Director of People & Culture at Schréder

Lisbon, Portugal, May 2026 — Adriana Apanavicius Macieira has stepped into an expanded global leadership role at Schréder as Global Director of People & Culture, where she will lead the company’s worldwide agenda across culture, talent, and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI).

In this strategic position, Adriana is responsible for shaping and aligning people strategies across Schréder’s operations in 35 countries, driving cultural transformation, leadership development, talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR digitalization, people analytics, internal communications, and global well-being initiatives.

Since joining Schréder in 2022, Adriana has already played a transformative role in strengthening the company’s global people ecosystem, designing scalable HR solutions that support both organizational growth and cultural cohesion across international markets.

Prior to Schréder, Adriana contributed to employer branding and strategic communications initiatives at PriG – Instituto Primeira Geração, supporting educational advancement and social mobility in Brazil.

She also held employee experience leadership responsibilities at Critical TechWorks, where she focused on workforce engagement, retention, and end-to-end employee journey design.

Her international HR expertise further expanded through key roles at Scatec Solar and Yara International, where she led global recruitment, competency building, and enterprise-wide HR systems transformation initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Adriana played foundational leadership roles in organizational culture, corporate university development, and talent management at Livelo Brasil, Via Varejo, and Grupo Pão de Açúcar, where she successfully built HR frameworks, leadership development systems, and enterprise-wide transformation programs.

With nearly two decades of global experience spanning organizational culture, HR innovation, employee experience, and strategic talent transformation, Adriana’s appointment reflects Schréder’s commitment to building a future-ready, inclusive, and globally connected workforce.
