Bangkok City, Thailand, June 2024 – Agapol Na Songkhla has taken on the role of Chief People Officer and Head of Strategy at Thai Group Holdings. With a robust background in HR leadership and strategic management, Agapol brings extensive expertise in organizational transformation, strategy development, and people management. His experience in both public and private sectors will be instrumental in driving the company’s strategic initiatives and enhancing its human resources capabilities.
Agapol Na Songkhla joins Thai Group Holdings after his tenure at the Office of the Civil Service Commission, Royal Thai Government, where he served as a Civil Service Commission of Thailand for approximately 3 years and 5 months. In this role, he was royally appointed to serve and contribute to the development of civil service strategies and policies, working remotely from Bangkok City, Thailand.
Prior to that, Agapol was the Chief People Officer at Thai Beverage PLC for about 9 years and 6 months. During his tenure, he led the HR function, focusing on talent development, organizational culture, and employee engagement, driving significant improvements in the company’s HR practices.
From his approximately 8 years and 4 months at TMB Bank PCL, Agapol held multiple roles including Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy and Transformation, Head of Corporate Governance, Head of Investor Relations, and Company Secretary. He was instrumental in driving strategic transformations, enhancing corporate governance practices, and managing investor relations.
Agapol also spent around 9 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As a Consultant, Project Leader, and Principal, he led various consulting projects, providing strategic insights and solutions to clients across different industries.
His early career includes a role at NHK WORLD JAPAN, where he worked for about 6 years in Tokyo, Japan. He was involved in producing and presenting Thai language news, travel, and entertainment programs.
